A Slightly Grotesque Story
I never would have thought that cuticles could be trimmed, but apparently they can be. I read it in a book.
Then I discovered that I actually have a cuticle trimmer, and so I decided to use it. I cut into my skin four or five times by accident, and now my fingers really hurt, even though I did that more than 24 hours ago. The devine one insists that cuticles should not be trimmed, and all I can say is, it can be dangerous. My fingers look much more trim, however. Guess I gotta develop some skills in this area.

Sounds fearsome...did the book state how it was to be done or just that it can be done? Maybe once you develope the skill you can write a "how to blog" for the those of us who are too afraid to try it without supervison.
You can push them back but you're not supposed to cut them cuz then it's easier to get germs.

I'm sorry your cuticle trimming thing was a painful venture. I trim mine all the time- but you do have to be careful. Put neo-sporen on the part that was bleeding. (if you do this before you go to bed, it will heal faster). I love beauty talk!
