VERSE OF THE DAY

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)  listen to chapter  (Read by Max McLean. Jac-in-the-box

Considering I will eventually try for a graphic design type of job (unless I decide to stay home and paint my toenails all day), I will need to submit a designer's style resume. That means it should be more than plain text and should show off my designer abilities.

I am considering putting a picture of a jack-in-the-box on it...at first I wasn't going to because I thought it might be seen as being too kiddish or silly, but my instructor Sarah really liked the idea. I told her why I thought of it - my name is Jac, and I'm getting "out of the box."

What should my jack-in-the-box look like? It doesn't have to look like the normal kind. What kind of expression should it have? Happy? Confident? Surely not smug. Suspicious? I think I'm on to something.

Right now, I am in class. 3D. My interests in it are steadily increasing. We are tweaking our human model's lips. One of my classmates says my girl doesn't look female. I think it looks like a girl.

Comments:
It should look Curious as if it wants to see whats on the page with him. With perhaps a small smirk(without smugness) as if it knows a secret no one else will ever know. If you can create that, you'll get any job!

And if you could add just a bit of melancholy to the eyes it would perhaps be better still...but what do we know...we are just words.

I agree with the Barlow Girls. Give it the old Mona Lisa type, "I know the DaVinci Code is a load of crud" of smug smile.

Didja get my e-mail about RP Bible Study?

Jac- just that you thought of that...you are amazing!

No, no it looks like a girl.
A scary one.

Thanks for the comments, all. For now, I am putting the jac-in-the-box idea on hold for my resume. Maybe it is a decent idea, but I'm not into it enough to let it be my identifying symbol. I just don't want people to think I am a clown! Even if I show myself to be in other ways.

Okay, okay. I am a clown. Can't get away from it. :P

Hey Wonderful! I think your girl looks great! How was your valentines day? I love you soo much! Email me?
